Skills Academy Training Facilities

The g-lec Skills Academy offers courses and gas assessments for people seeking training in electrical and gas engineering and plumbing plus non-specialised training such as valuable Health & Safety at Work courses and the latest Domestic Energy Assessment courses for the provision of Energy Performance Certificates.

The CCN1 suite of assessments allow operatives to prove their competency in the categories of work they wish to undertake to enable them to apply for CORGI registration. There are two packages to appeal to the experienced operative or to those entering or returning to the industry.

We offer a variety of electrical courses to suit qualified electricians needing to update their qualifications, or for those less experienced needing new or extra qualifications.

A number of plumbing courses are available, suitable for those wishing to acquire or increase their plumbing skills. Our 12 week plumbing course will equip you with basic plumbing skills up to NVQ Level 2 (C&G 6129).
