We offer a variety of electrical courses to suit qualified electricians needing to update their qualifications, for example to the latest 17th Edition, or for those less experienced needing new or extra qualifications.
By 2010 all electricians will have to meet the minimum standards of 17th Edition C&G 2382, a test and inspection package 2391 or 2392, and have knowledge of Building Regulations.
The 17th Edition came into force in January 2008, and there is a six-month grace period until 1st July for electricians to update their qualifications. For those without the 16th Edition, the four-day course is required.
A new qualification, the C&G 2392-10, provides an introduction to the fundamentals of inspection, testing and initial verification of electrical installations. And for those who are experienced but require further training in periodic inspection, testing and reporting, there is the C&G 2391-10.
We are continuing to run a short half day awareness course for those requiring understanding of the Part P regulations.
