The Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment (DipDEA) must be achieved before you apply to become an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor. The DipDEA is a competence-based qualification gained through a process of assessment and examination.
Our training and assessment course will qualify you with the essential qualification - the City & Guilds 6020 Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment – that you need to produce Energy Performance Certificates.
In preparation for your career as a Domestic Energy Assessor you will spend 5 days at our specialist training facilities in West Drayton (near Heathrow Airport), followed by a period of home study for which you will be supplied with 100 hours’ worth of distance learning materials, including DVDs.
Our course includes practical “hands on” sessions on boilers and other heating equipment plus training in the use of unique software. It also includes doing an actual property inspection and preparing an EPC.
