Gas ACS – CCN1 Initial Assessment
5 days' duration, course notes and lunch included, £950 + VAT
The CCN1 is a full core assessment intended for operatives who carry out installation and maintenance work on pipework, appliances and equipment on domestic natural gas. This is a prerequisite of all the appliance assessments. The course includes assessment on Core Gas Safety plus up to 3 appliances (from list below).
After completing the core domestic gas safety, you are then eligible to be assessed on one or more domestic appliances, but cannot legally carry out work on any appliance type until you have the appropriate certificate of assessment. For example, if you choose only to take the central heating appliance assessment you can only legally work on central heating appliances.
These assessments enable you to apply for CORGI registration on the selected modules.
Appliances: ½ day each
Includes installation and maintenance of each of the following domestic gas fired appliances
DAH1 -Ducted Air Heaters
HTR1 - Space Heaters including gas fires and wall heaters
WAT1 - Water Heaters
CKR1 - Cookers
CEN1 - Central Heating Boilers
